- Tested to international standards BioTab is a Peracetic acid in situ based product. Peracetic acid is a highly oxidising rapid acting biocide unaffected by organic matter. Unlike Chlorine and Quat, Peracetic acid can perform and eradicate spores in soil and on any surface. Peracetic acid acts by rapidly tearing apart the spore and cell wall this destroys the micro-organism and kill the spore. Chlorine and Quat on the other hand are hindered by a much slower reaction rate that requires a higher concentration to break the spore wall allowing for ion inter-reaction with the spore contents. Remains active in the presence of organic soil
